Safety at VibeMe

Share what you love. Keep control over what you share and who can interact with you.

Choose the right audience

Use a shelf’s menu to choose public, private or friends-only visibility. Friends means people you follow who also follow you. Review the audience before posting anything personal.

Only invite people you trust to collaborative shelves. Invitations require acceptance. Sharing a link does not override a shelf’s access permissions.

Report content or an account

Use the report action on the relevant post or profile in the app. Choose the closest reason and give enough context for a reviewer to understand the concern. Do not submit passwords, verification codes or unnecessary private information.

Reporting is not an emergency service. Reports do not guarantee an immediate response or automatic removal.

Block unwanted contact

Use a profile’s block action when you do not want that account interacting with you. Manage blocked accounts from Settings → Blocked accounts.

Blocking is one safety tool, not a guarantee that someone cannot see copies of public material or use a different account. Keep sensitive information off public profiles and posts.

How moderation works

VibeMe uses rules and human review, not an AI moderation provider. Rules can miss context, quotations or harmful behavior. A report should be reviewed in context rather than treated as proof on its own.

If a decision appears mistaken, use the available in-app review or appeal option. Public support and appeal contact details are still awaiting operator confirmation.

Protect your account

Sign in only through the expected VibeMe and Clerk screens. Never give another person your password or verification code. Be cautious about links, promises of account upgrades and requests to move conversations elsewhere.

If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate local crisis service. Do not wait for a VibeMe report to be processed.
